I know panic can grip you when you actually think of the valentines day and you wonder that you have done actually nothing for the valentines day and you should be scurrying for the last minute bouquets and flowers. But do you think that your girl friend or wife will be be flattered with the flowers only.

Forget it ? It is their day so pamper them, shower them with gifts and let them bask in glory.

Though I wish I could actually do something for you but at the very least I could list down a few things for you and help you mentally and save your days .

It is the thought counts is your suggestion yes but the fact is that thought has to have an expression so here are the valentines day expression that are likely to melt somebody’s heart

1. Select a nice teddy bear or a nice stuffed heart shaped toy . You can get this is in any normal stationery store
2. If you cannot think of anything else then get the special coupons that you can get electronically and then let wrap them in a specially printed wrapping sheets.
3. Bed and bath or the body shop will have tonnes of body oil and massages and that too especially those with a special nice packages which are especially made for the valentines day.I know it feels like clichéd but you cannot go empty handed so get the next best thing.
4. I remember that in front of my office was a flower shop and they did roaring business because of the fact that people scrambled at the last minute to get at least a bouquet and that was the main thing. The rates if you checked in the morning were OK but by the evening comes in the prices of bouquet were doubled. Well did I mind or for that matter anybody else absolutely no ! At least you found a good bouquet and after you forgot to order the flowers online for the valentines day.
5. Get a book of love poems(not good but something)
6. Select a nice little restaurant and book it for dinner and tell them to arrange for a heart shaped cake as well as a bouquet and that will save you time.
7. Last but not the least make sure that you at least get a nice box of chocolates for your valentine. Chocolates if nothing else can be of great pleasure and something that your valentine can never complain of

Sadly enough as I write I know even that this is January and I am not sure what gift will I give to my wife and it is then that reality hits you that you are already in February and the online option simply vanishes away. You then just have to do what I wrote is the last minute valentine’s day gifts.

A simple definition of gift that I read was something that is bestowed voluntarily and without compensation Well It costs money and that means you also need to look for cheap and cost effective goods. Well somebody told me that cheap is not a good word and henceforth I will write cheap as “economical” . That is some word for you and me

The other definition is a talent, endowment or aptitude as in the gift of gab or the gifted writer or the gifted blogger : –)

What is a favor and what does a favor signify

Favor in a bad sense can be excessive partiality or in a good sense can be harmless act of help or a gesture.

In a typical party scenario a favor is something which is defined as

“a small gift or decorative or festive item, as a noisemaker or paper hat, often distributed to guests at a party”

This favor is a small gift that you give to guests as a token of appreciation as well as a token of wellbeing and the favor can be anything beginning from a wedding favor to the birthday favor to a bachelorette party favor.
