There are a lot of different things that you can get for your barber or hairdresser. You just need to decide what the best idea is for them.  You can always ask you barber what his favorite item is.  Look around when you are getting your hair cut and see if there is anything in the barber shop that could help you when deciding what to get your favorite barber. The first thing that comes to mind when thinking of gifts for barber shop owners are nice scissors because they are probably the most used item in their workplace.  Believe it or not, scissors can be fairly expensive, costing more than $60. If this is something that you are interested in, try to see what brand the scissors are that your barber uses.  You could also always go to a beauty supply store and ask the clerk to show you the best scissors they have.

Maybe you are more sentimental than that? There are loads of different gift ideas out there. If you are a more sentimental type here is an idea for you; try to get a picture with your barber and then have it enlarged and framed nicely for him: he is sure to love it.  It will be a gift from the heart and will have true meaning to the both of you.  Also, you might want to attach a nice poem or even a sweet thank you letter to your barber and express your appreciation for his friendship and excellent work.

No worries.  Maybe you aren’t especially close to your barber but you still feel a gift would be appropriate there are perfect gifts for that situation as well.  For example, there are a lot of places on the internet that do personalized gifts.  You might look at getting your barber a personalized pen, business card holder, or even a personalized ornament for their Christmas tree. Lastly, the “experts” say that a good amount to spend on a gift for your barber is the amount that you would spend at a normal appointment.  So for some that could be expensive, but for others it could be not that much.  Just remember there are gifts out there for every budget.
