Stationary items are also inexpensive gifts to give away at a party. You can pick up a lot of unusual designs at your local dollar store.

    Choosing bright colorful patterns for stationary will add a festive touch to the gift when it’s given. Some other paper items that could be appropriate for an office setting would be notepads and sticky notes. Often these come in colorful cubes and can be bought for a dollar or less. In keeping with the office theme you can purchase small staplers, scissors and rulers that also make good office party gifts and are practical as well.
    The coffee mug is always a classic item to use at parties. It comes in so many different colors and designs that you could use them for every occasion you have and never repeat giving the same mug. They are popular because you can add items inside of them and use a bit of ribbon to make them festive. A popular favorite for use with the mugs is candy. Small treats tied up in a bit of colored cellophane makes the item look like a special gift. Placing treats or candies inside that are in keeping with the occasion adds to the appeal of the event. Using small holiday heart candies for Valentine’s Day or candy egg malted milk balls for Easter instantly turns the mug into a holiday themed gift.
