While most people think of graduation parties as they relate to preschool, kindergarten, high school, and college, there is another important hurdle over which individuals must leap : eighth grade. Graduating from eighth grade signifies a few important things in the life of a teenager: the aging teenager has a) finished middle school and is moving on to high school, and  b) is growing more dependent on his friends, while becoming independent of his parents. Because the transition to high school can stir up mixed emotions in adolescents, it is paramount to recognize how important a congratulation is to them. The best way to reward one’s children for successfully completing middle school is by throwing a grade 8 graduation party for them, and below are two ideas on how a parent can throw an enjoyable party for his child.

1) Invite many people using home-made invitations. By inviting a lot of individuals, your son or daughter will not be devastated if some people do not show up to the party. For example, invite twenty, knowing that maybe five to ten will come. If you know that all whom you invite will attend, though, invite only as many as your house can hold at one time. When you invite a lot of individuals to your home, make sure there are enough chaperones present; the general rule of thumb is having one chaperon per four or five kids. Also, do not invite just a few of them to spend the night; if you invite one or two, invite them all so no teens get their feelings upset or create tension amongst the group.

The invitations themselves should be mailed or e-mailed; use creative and unique ideas, not something "cute", because they are now technically high-schoolers.  Invitations can be designed online or using  software, and it is best to include the following information on them: when the party will begin and end, and dress attire (e.g., maybe you want a particular theme, such as school mascots or colors).

Food and drink

2) Think deeply about foods, games, and movies. Graduation is a significant event, and as such, it should be treated importantly. Thus, find out what types of foods everyone wants, whether it be pizzas, hamburgers, hotdogs, chicken, lasagna, or something else. It would probably be a good idea to have snacks around the house, too, as well as drinks, such as sodas, water, lemonade, and tea.

Activities
Have games and activities stationed inside or outside your house to provide everyone with some form of entertainment. Examples include: video game systems, computer games, tennis, ping-pong, laser tag, kickball, basketball, soccer, hockey, shuffleboard, and possibly board games or card games.
After dinner, you could haul everyone to a late night movie, but make sure all of the parents allow their children to leave your home. If that idea fails, you could show the movie at your own home, providing popcorn, candy, and beverages.

And so, 8th grade graduations can be just as festive as high school and college graduations, and parents need to recognize how significant the transition from middle school to high school is for their children. Also you need to have the 8th grade graduation gifts ready for your kid
