Well people who are recovering in the hospital as well as in home care patients need to be given get well soon gifts so that it can cheer them up as well as it gives a message which says that yes there is someone who cares for them in the time of stress and distress.

For a typical flower arrangement go with white roses or yellow roses as they can be very light on the eyes and look good. For females you can even add a small teddy bear or some stuffed toy in the flower bouquet.

A handmade card with a nice inspirational message is something that can be given alongside the gift and that shows that you care.

Something in form of a collection of favorite songs and some nice soothing and relaxing CD’s will help and will make sure that people get well soon.

· Shoe Calendar- These are really cool, you could choose a larger pinup calendar with shoe images on each page. There are calendars available with celebrity shoe pictures as well. Or perhaps a smaller desk calendar where each day has a shoe-of-the-day, this would make them think of you and your gift every day of the year.

· Jewelry and Accessories- There are many jewelry options to choose from. From pendants to rings or bracelets, you can get basically anything you want with a shoe theme. There are also items that look exactly like a high heel shoe, but are in actuality a ring holder.

· Shoe Organizer- This one is a “shoe-in”! If you have been to the home of your shoe lover and there is no rhyme or reason to their madness then this is a perfect gift. Organizers come in all sizes, shapes and décor to fit in the closet of your shoe lover. These can come as floor models, shelving or even hanging units.

· Gift Card- This is a simple one. If you are thinking of buying them actual shoes, then you may want to think again. Unless you know them very well then just get a gift card to their favorite shoe store and let them go nuts. A real shoe nut is very picky and hard to please when it comes to the purchase of shoes.

· Zappopoly- This is my favorite as it’s for a good cause. This is a Collectors Edition Monopoly game made in conjunction with Zappos.com made as a benefit to the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation. Very cool game where the board spots were bought by vendors to help the cause.

These are all great ideas, but there are so many more. From novelty T-Shirts to hats, pins, bumper stickers and plaques, the choices are endless. Use a little imagination and you will discover that it isn’t quite as difficult to buy for a shoe addict as you may think.
