Amazingly simple Father’s Day craft ideas
On Father’s Day there is nothing better than coming up with Father’s Day craft ideas that the kids can take part in. After all this is their day to show dad how much they love him and there is nothing any dad would appreciate more than some handmade gifts from his beautiful children. There are lots of wonderful craft ideas for Father’s Day and a few in particular that are worth trying out.
Father’s day tie craft
‘One of the cutest Father’s Day craft ideas is to make a tie with the kids’ signatures and writing on it. Take a regular tie and get some permanent markers, fabric paint and decorations such as embellishments and glitter. Use anything that the kids would have fun with. Do not worry about making a mess but it may be wise to put some newspaper underneath if you are making your craft on the table.
Then, the kids basically get to go wild. They can write their names, write a poem for dad, put on some stickers or glitter, and do whatever else they want to show dad how special he is. Of course dad will probably not have a place to actually wear this tie afterwards but it is a great gift idea and you could even frame it and hang it in the living room or hallway so you can all look at it whenever you want.
Marble Magnets
Another simple craft idea is to make family marble magnets for dad. You simply go to any photo shop or through a store that offers these services online to get these made. Pick one of your favorite photos of mom, dad and one of each of the kids. These will be imprinted onto marbles that you can use to hold up papers and other things on the fridge and freezer. Most families have a fridge packed with stuff they need to hold up so marble magnets are not only a unique gift idea for dad on Father’s Day but also a functional one.
Coffee mug craft
If dad drinks coffee, get the kids to work on making personalized coffee mugs. They can literally draw whatever they want onto a piece of paper and take this into a photo store offering these services. They will have it imprinted onto the cup and dad will remember how much his kids love him every time he has his morning coffee. You can also use pictures in the place of a drawing if you would rather. Maybe there is a really special picture of the little ones with dad playing at the beach or learning to ride a bike and you want him to cherish this memory forever.
